I wish I could tell you I got a makeover and that's what the 'new look' is about, but...no such luck. :) Not that I am unhappy with the way I look, it's just that pregnancy does a number on your body and getting it back (for me) has been interesting. I think that's another blog post though.
One thing that I am striving to stick to is goal setting and goal keeping. I am terrible at both. So, it being a new year, I made some new goals. I am trying to keep it simple at first so I don't get overwhelmed and quit after a couple of weeks. One of them is to do my visiting teaching every month, on the first Friday of every month. I made it specific so that I couldn't give any excuses as to why I didn't do it. Another goal is to take my multi-vitamin every day with a healthy breakfast. Like I said, simple. My doctor nags me about taking my vitamins daily and for good reason. I couldn't take them most of the time while I was pregnant because I would end up throwing it up soon after taking it. But now I am making it a habit. Not only can I benefit from it, but my son as well! He needs those nutrients and if I am not taking care of myself, I am no good to him. Speaking of taking care of myself, my third goal is to do some form of exercise for at least 30 minutes daily. I know that one is kind of vague and I'm working on it but with Lincoln's schedule and how whack that can be some mornings,
I at least made it 'daily'.
So. Here's to a brand new year and to brand new goals! Go me :)
