Wedding Pictures!

We received our wedding pictures in the mail the other day and I got SO excited! Lee and I were going through them and the whole time I had the biggest smile on my face. They brought back such wonderful memories of our special day! I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

My wonderful, amazing, incredible friends and bridesmaids!

Lee's wonderful family...

...and my wonderful family! We were so thankful that so many people could come and be a part of our beautiful day!

Haha!

Our reception was held at the Corbin Mansion on the south hill of Spokane. Such a beautiful building and perfect for our reception!

The "line."

Having our yummy cake...

and dancing...

The bouquet toss! These girls are hilarious! (Jackie - the one in the center - totally got it!)

The garter toss!

And the day finally came to an end! It was the most wonderful day of my life!!! To be married for time and all eternity to the most perfect man on the planet (for me) :) is more than I could EVER ask for! I am also thankful to all our friends and family for their support and love! I know we couldn't have done any of this without them...we love you all!!! Yay for being married!!!

The best thing in the world...

Well, besides my wonderful husband, the best thing in the world are days off from work! Those are the days that I get to do whatever my heart desires and I love it! Now, for the longest time, I have been dying to start building my inventory of cards to sell online at etsy. com. Etsy is a place where you can buy and sell all things handmade. It is the cutest site ever and there are TONS that thousands of people all over the world have listed. You create your own "store" and list all your stuff and people come and buy it! It's awesome. I have been dying to create my store for the longest time. I'm sure I'll have the time now that all I have to worry about is work. I love it!
So here's what I worked on today:

This card took me like, four hours. I know. Ridiculous! The problem is that I'm a perfectionist and every little thing must be perfect to be selling quality. It's just the way I am I suppose. :)

I love fall! I love the colors and the crispness...I love the smells and the cute sweaters! My favorite time of year for sure!
I have a three day weekend coming up and I'm hoping to pump out more cards. :)

And just for kicks, I made Lee his favorite cookies: monster cookies!

I love baking in the fall. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)
It's just a beautiful time of year!

What's for dinner?

Do you know why I love being a wife? One of the reasons is because I am trying to become a better cook...and being a wife helps me be able to do that! Lee and I have had so much fun trying new things and making all of our meals together. It is seriously wonderful! He is a MUCH better cook than I am so I have tons to learn from him for sure. Here are some of the things that we have had so far!
We made oven baked chicken and garlic chicken one night...way delicious and yes, lots of leftovers... :) Thankfully Lee is a big eater so it's usually gone within a couple days!

Lee made this...it's pasta with marinara sauce and fresh parmesan cheese on top. Quick, easy and delicious!

I used to hate baked potatoes as a kid. But once you put all these goodies on it, they're really not that bad at all! Again, very quick and easy and soooo good!

I have branched out a bit...like last week, I made dinner two nights in a row! Yay me! The first night we had homemade macaroni and cheese and a coffee cake for dessert and the next night was spaghetti! And the BEST part is...I didn't burn anything! I am notorious for that...so it's a really good thing when that doesn't happen! I hope to get better at this...it's been a goal for me for a long time. It's just really satisfying when you can make something and have it be delicious! Thank goodness for a non-picky husband! :)

1 month...

One month ago today, I married the man of my dreams. I married the most caring, considerate, patient, loving man I have ever met. I married the only one who could fill my life with such joy and happiness. I can never give enough thanks for him in my life! My world is whole and complete because of him and my only hope is that I can make him as eternally happy as he has made me. He has made my dreams come true in so many ways and I know more than anything that it only gets better from here. I can't wait to see what our future brings...but most of all I can't wait to share it with him.
I love you Lee, with my whole heart and soul, I love you!

Where The Wild Things Are...

Last week, we visited one of Idaho Fall's many attractions: the Tautphaus Zoo! Lee and I were so excited as we share a love of animals of all shapes and sizes. His senior project back in high school was about zoology and ever since then has been fascinated by all kinds of creatures. I think it's cute. :)

First we saw some pelicans. They were hiding their heads most of the time so this is pretty much all we got to see.

There were several types of tropical birds which were neat. This one's a Macaw.

This little dude was just wandering around free inside the zoo. I think they let most peacocks do that. He was sure pretty though!

I love this man!

We saw all kinds of monkeys! Thankfully they were up and about. Most of the zoos that I've been to, they're just sleeping...which is boring.

There were two beautiful snow leopards...

and lions...

and tigers...

and bears...

oh my!!!

We loved the zebras!

Isn't he cute?!

It was a fun day for sure! Lee really wants to show me the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City and I'm so excited to go! I love our adventures!
